About Us
Who We Are
Given the challenge of current industry pressures, fierce pace of change and shrinking resources, the Association of Indiana Home Medical Equipment Services (AIHMES), the Illinois Association for Home Medical Equipment Services (IAMES) and the Michigan Independent Providers Association (MIPA) merged effective July 1, 2014. We are a non-profit trade organization established for the purpose of advocating the interests of home medical equipment (HME) providers throughout Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. It is the premier source for industry business information, education, networking and a voice on state and national government issues affecting the HME services industry in the great lakes region.
